Mr Xie and his delegation received a warm welcome from Mr Y.H. Lee, Deputy Director of GS-Caltex, Mr J.Y. Chang, Senior Director of Hyundai Oil Bank, Mr J.P. He made particular note of CMES’ VLCC fleet and MR refined oil tanker fleet, both of which are operated with sound and up-graded management to provide safe and quality crude oil and refined oil transportation services, expressing the hope that South Korean clients can continue to provide support in the sagging market and expand cooperations for the benefit of all parties.

On Jun 12, Mr Xie also visited Sinotrans Korea Shipping Co., Ltd. He was briefed upon the company’s work and expressed optimism at its operations. He noted that overseas operations must contribute to the development of CMG’s shipping operations and be able to demonstrate to company’s value. As such, he hopes that Sinotrans Korea Shipping Co., Ltd. will actively expand clientele and transform the Group’s Korean operations into a boutique route, and eventually, developing a global CMG shipping network.
